Alpilles Tour 1: Saint R\u00e9my de Provence, the mountain chain of Les Alpilles, Les Baux de Provence.<\/h3>\n

The mountain chain of the Alpilles is a natural park its fauna and flora are typical of the region.<\/span>
\nOur tour in the Alpilles<\/strong> area will start with the village Saint R\u00e9my de Provence. It\u2019s a village traditions and festivity, a village of character.<\/span>
\nVisiting St R\u00e9my and the surrounding, you will be surprise by the richness of its history, the monuments grec and roman of Glanum<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Alpilles museum introduces the visitor to the cultural, natural and human heritage of the Alpilles. It is housed in a very fine Renaissance residence.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will take the roads of the Alpilles Valley<\/strong> where the olive has been cultivated since the time of ancient grecs and romans.<\/span>
\nWe could go to an olive mill and try the olive oil<\/strong> AOP Vall\u00e9e de Baux.<\/span><\/p>\n

The village of Les Baux de Provence<\/strong>, has a rich architectural heritage which you can explore by wandering through its narrow cobbled streets, as far as the wonderful view of the valley, a silvery blue sea of olive trees.<\/span>

As you come to visit Provence you may visit Arles.

\nOn the town hall square, the church of St Trophime, whose portal and cloister are jewels of\u00a0\u00a0late Southern Romanesque Art,\u00a0is a visit not to be missed by art lovers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The garden of the Hotel Dieu where Vincent Van Gogh lived in 1888.<\/span><\/p>\n
