The villages of the mediterranean coast.
A day by the sea, it’s just a perfect day
If you can make it in June September even better!
In a day we could plan to go to Cassis, it’s a charming village colorful with a beautiful port and its typical boats, « les pointus ».
Cassis is know for its vines, the white wines made by the sea are perfect with a grilled-fish cash on line in the morning.
You can take the option of a boat ride for an hour you will discover the Calanques.
An other village that I like to go to it’s Sanary sur Mer, it’s situated near Bandol.
We could visit in the same day the village of le Castellet.
Option: Wine testing, Bandol wine and from Cassis.
Option: Boat ride to the Calanques (16€/per)
Visiting the village of Cassis and the great city of Marseilles.
Once we visit Cassis we will pass by its vineyards end go to Marseille by the Corniche one of the great panoramic road on the sea.
We will make a stop to the Vallon de Auffes and we ill go up to the hill of the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde. It’s a great basilic the decoration is made with fine mosaic. From the hill you have an amazing view over the sea, the city, its harbor, the islands of the Frioul, and the Chateau d’If, a castle where the Count of Monte Cristo.
Going down the hill we will pass by the port, the Musem built in 2013.
